Azizam "Zaza" 2023 Red Blend, Tecate, Mexico

A blend of 80% Nebbiolo, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Tempranillo, the juice spent 8 days in carbonic maceration with a combination of whole cluster and destemmed grapes. Fermentation occurred in concrete amphora and stainless steel. Rich blackberry and blueberry fruit up front coats the palate softly. Delicate barnyard characteristics bring earthy tones and serve as tannins for the wine. A brighter finish, notes of pomegranate and light floralness.
