The Thevenet family are not only in charge of a delightfully charming winery of their own, but for three generations now have also become very successful nursery, growing and providing others in the Maconnais with strong and healthy grape vines. This entry level Macon-Villages in a blend of multiple parcels, including some from the revered villages of Brussieres and Milly. Raised in all stainless this is a wine all about purity and freshness. No oak here to impart richness or flavor, this is a wine that is full of ripe, structured and balanced Chardonnay with plenty of weight but balanced by a nibble of acidity on the finish. Great value.
