Made with 100% unpeated whisky that is first aged in first filled bourbon barrels for 3.5-4.5 years and then finished in first filled PX sherry cask for half a year to 2 years.
Description
You really get the richness from the PX sherry casks used. Malted chocolate and dark coco coat your palate up front. Savory tobacco leaf leads to a characteristic that is kind of smokey which is coming directly from the wood since this is an unpeated whisky. Light red apple notes create a refreshing finish.
